We love to sing and worship our God and King. Our music is a combination of traditional church hymns and favorite psalms and choruses. A piano accompanies our worship each Sunday and additional instruments are used on some songs to the degree that they help facilitate worship. The Lord’s Table is celebrated weekly.
Sermons are primarily exegetical, working through a book at a time of either the New or Old Testament. Throughout the year, a few six to eight week breaks are taken to cover a topical series that is believed relevant to the church. Sermons are balanced between exposition, illustration, and application.
Expect children…a lot of children. We love having our children worship alongside their parents, but we do have a cry room available for necessary situations, with a television broadcasting the service. The service typically lasts approximately 75 minutes.
On any given Sunday you will find around 150 people gathered for worship, spanning a wide spectrum of ages and culture.
Our weekly worship includes the following elements:
- Call to Worship
- Interactive readings from the Old and/or New Testament that reminds us of God’s standards and promises.
- Corporate Confession of Sin
- Hymns/Psalms/Choruses
- Offering
- Sermon
- Lord’s Supper
